[UPDATE] GE 2011: Singapore's PAP Returned To Government

Asia News is reporting that Singapore's ruling People's Action Party (PAP) was returned to government with a simple majority of 44 seats including five uncontested seats.
The People's Action Party's Lim Biow Chuan has garnered 58.65 per cent of the votes in this SMC with 23,731 voters, beating the National Solidarity Party's Jeannette Chong-Aruldoss, who had 41.35 per cent of the vote.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong's Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency (GRC) won by a large majority against the Reform Party (RP), garnering 69.33 per cent of votes.
